Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1. Scope. Affordable Deals warrants that all jewelry sold on our site is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the period and under the conditions set forth below.
1.2. Electroplated Jewelry. Unless explicitly stated “Original” in the item description, all jewelry is electroplated in gold or rose gold. This warranty applies only to the plating and base metal integrity; it does not cover natural wear of the plating finish over time.
1.3. Original Jewelry. Items marked as “Original” in the description (e.g., solid gold, sterling silver, platinum) carry the manufacturer’s standard warranty, subject to that manufacturer’s specific terms rather than these Electroplated Warranty Terms.

2. Warranty Period

2.1. Electroplated Items. 90 days from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.
2.2. Original Items. As specified by the manufacturer in the product listing.

3. What Is Covered

3.1. Defects in plating adhesion (e.g., peeling, flaking) not caused by misuse.
3.2. Structural defects in the base metal (e.g., broken clasps, bent links) under normal, non‐abusive use.

4. What Is Not Covered

4.1. Normal fading, tarnishing, discoloration, or scratches resulting from everyday wear.
4.2. Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, chlorinated or salt water, perfumes, lotions, or sweat.
4.3. Damage due to improper storage (e.g., in humid environments) or failure to follow care instructions.
4.4. Loss or theft of the product.
4.5. Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications by third parties.
4.6. Wear and tear—this warranty is not a guarantee against aesthetic changes over time.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

5.1. Timing. Claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period.
5.2. Proof of Purchase. Provide your order number and a copy of the sales receipt.
5.3. Photographic Evidence. Clear photographs showing the defect.
5.4. Submission. Email affordabledealsfiji@gmail.com with “Warranty Claim” in the subject line and include all required documentation.

6. Remedies

6.1. If your claim is approved, Affordable Deals will, at its option:

• Repair the defective item;

• Replace the defective item with an identical or comparable item; or

• Issue a store credit equal to the original purchase price.

6.2. Shipping costs for returning the item to us are the customer’s responsibility. Affordable Deals will cover shipping costs to return the repaired or replacement item to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. Affordable Deals’ liability is limited to the remedies set forth herein.
7.2. In no event shall Affordable Deals be liable for any incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product.

8. General Provisions

8.1. Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
8.2. Modification. Affordable Deals reserves the right to modify these terms at any time; changes will apply to purchases made after the effective date.
8.3. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Fiji.

By purchasing from Affordable Deals, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Warranty Terms & Conditions.
